In a statement made by the Juno Awards CEO, Allan Reid, the Canadian Award organization will no longer be putting the categories “Reggae Recording of the Year”, “Childrens Album of the Year” and “Christian/Gospel Album of the Year” on a hiatus.
Though this is a win for Canadian Reggae Musicians, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done as a community to see how we move forward from here.
We look forward to seeing the nominees for next years Juno Awards.
